    Description

The monoclonal antibody (Mab) reacts with the heavy chain of meagre (Argyrosomus regius) immunoglobulin M, with no detectable cross reaction to serum proteins of other fish species, including sole (Solea senegalensis), turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) or sea bream (Sparus aurata). The Mab is of an IgG1 isotype.

    • ICC/IF. Meagre splenocytes were plated in conical bottom 96-well plates and incubated with 5 µg/mL of anti-meagre IgM (product CETGA-116) for 30 mins at RT followed by 3 wash steps in PBS. Cells were then incubated with 1 µg/mL of goat anti-mouse IgG FITC secondary antibody for 30 mins followed by 3 wash steps in PBS. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and counterstaining with 1 µg/mL DAPI. Images were taken using a fluorescence microscope (Zeiss Axiolab 5).
