    Description

The monoclonal antibody (Mab) against Tenacibaculum maritimum is species-specific. The specificity of the Mab has been tested against a range of fish bacterial pathogens including different Tenacibaculum sp. The Mab is of an IgA isotype.

    • A. Lane 1: Molecular weight markers. Lanes 2-3: Western blot (WB). Tenacibaculum maritimum (01 strain-Lane 2; 02 strain-Lane 3) reduced lysate transferred to a PVDF membrane was detected using CETGA-102 Mab (2 µg/mL) and anti-mouse IgG specific polyclonal antibody (whole molecule) as secondary antibody.
      B. Dot blot. Protein extracts (0.5 µg) of different Tenacibaculum species were blotted onto a PVDF membrane and incubated with CETGA-102 Mab (2 µg/mL) and anti-mouse IgG specific polyclonal antibody (whole molecule) as secondary antibody.

    • Immunofluorescence. Fluorescence microscopy images (Zeiss axiolab 5) of T. maritimum from a 48 h FMM broth culture, incubated with the mAb CETGA102, detected using an anti-mouse IgG-FITC secondary antibody. The nuclei were stained with DAPI.
