Description
Description
The monoclonal antibody (Mab) reacts with the heavy chain of Turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) immunoglobulin M, with no detectable cross reaction to serum proteins of other fish species, including sole (Solea senegalensis), sea bream (Sparus aurata) or sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax). The Mab is of an IgG2a isotype.

WB. Lane 1: Molecular weight markers. Lanes 2-3: Western blot. SDS-PAGE migrated turbot serum [reduced, 0.5 µg (Lane 2) and 1 µg (Lane 3)] was transferred to a PVDF membrane and was incubated with CETGA-106 Mab (1 µg/mL) and anti-mouse IgG specific antibody as secondary antibody. A single band of ~ 78-80 KDa was detected.
-
ICC/IF. Turbot splenocytes were plated in conical bottom 96-well plates and incubated with 1 µg/mL anti-turbot IgM (product CETGA-106) for 30 mins at RT followed by 3 wash steps in PBS. Cells were then incubated with 1 µg/mL of goat anti-mouse IgG FITC secondary antibody for 30 mins followed by 3 wash steps in PBS. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and counterstaining with 1 µg/mL DAPI. Images were taken using a confocal fluorescence microscope (Leica STELLARIS 8 FALCON STED).
